What to Expect During Treatment

Your appointment will begin with a thorough consultation to ensure your treatment is still appropriate on the day and to answer any final questions you may have. Once your skin has been cleansed and prepared, a topical numbing cream may be applied to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

The skin booster is then administered using a series of very small, precise injections placed just beneath the surface of the skin. The treatment is typically well tolerated, with most clients describing the sensation as mild and manageable.

The appointment itself is relatively quick, usually taking around 20–40 minutes depending on the areas being treated. You may notice small raised areas or slight redness immediately afterwards, which is a normal response and begins to settle shortly after the treatment is complete.

Once finished, we will provide you with clear aftercare guidance and support, ensuring your skin has everything it needs to heal beautifully and begin its gradual improvement in hydration, radiance, and overall quality.

Downtime & Aftercare

Skin booster treatments are designed to be gentle on the skin, with minimal disruption to your day. Most clients are able to return to normal activities immediately afterwards, making this a convenient yet effective treatment for skin rejuvenation.

Following treatment, it is completely normal to notice some mild, temporary effects such as slight redness, subtle swelling, or small raised areas at the injection points. These typically settle within 24–48 hours as the skin begins to calm and recover. In some cases, minor bruising may occur and can take a few days to resolve.

We recommend allowing your skin a little time to rest and avoid:

• Intense exercise for 24 hours

• Excessive heat such as saunas, steam rooms, or sunbeds for 48 hours

• Alcohol for 24 hours, to help minimise the risk of bruising

• Makeup for at least 12–24 hours, depending on your individual treatment

Any sensitivity following treatment is usually very mild and short-lived.

Skin boosters are often referred to as a “lunchtime treatment” due to their minimal downtime and gradual, natural enhancement of the skin. Over the following days and weeks, the skin becomes progressively more hydrated, radiant, and refined as the treatment begins to work beneath the surface.
