Our Commitment to Accessible Healthcare

At Aesthetics Alchemy Ltd, we are committed to making our clinic and services fully accessible and inclusive to all adults, including those with disabilities, sensory needs, neurodiversity, communication differences, or chronic health conditions. We recognise that accessibility is not only about physical spaces, but also about how we communicate, deliver care, and support each individual patient with dignity and respect.

We aim to remove barriers to care and make reasonable adjustments for anyone who may require additional support when using our service.

Physical Accessibility

Our purpose-built home clinic in Ross-on-Wye has been designed with accessibility in mind and includes:

  • Step-free access from parking area to the main entrance (please note: there is a small step at the clinic threshold)

  • Wide doorways suitable for most mobility aids

  • Accessible treatment and consultation rooms located on the ground floor

  • A quiet, private environment to accommodate individuals with sensory sensitivities

  • Onsite parking with level access to the property

If you have specific physical access needs, we encourage you to contact us in advance. We will do everything we can to make suitable arrangements and ensure your comfort and safety on arrival. A portable ramp is available upon request to assist with the small step into the clinic.

Appointments and Communication

We are happy to adapt how we communicate with you, including:

  • Sending written information in large print or plain English

  • Offering phone, email, SMS or post-based communication

  • Providing longer appointment slots if required

  • Allowing a carer, advocate, or family member to attend appointments with you

  • Using diagrams or visual tools during consultations

  • Supporting interpreter or translation services if needed

We ask about your communication preferences and accessibility needs when you first register with the clinic and regularly review them.

Neurodivergent and Hidden Disability Inclusion

We welcome adults who are neurodivergent or living with conditions such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, or sensory processing difficulties. We are experienced in supporting:

  • Quiet appointment scheduling

  • Low-stimulus environments

  • Flexible pacing of consultations

  • Clear, structured information delivery

You can request additional support at any time.

Virtual Consultations

Virtual Consultations

We understand that attending face-to-face appointments isn’t always easy or possible for everyone. To help make our services more accessible, we offer virtual consultations as a flexible option — especially for initial discussions, information gathering, or follow-ups where appropriate.

Our remote options include:

  • Secure, encrypted video consultations

  • Telephone appointments (where clinically suitable)

  • Flexible scheduling to suit your routine and comfort

  • Support with accessing and setting up digital consultations if needed

However, please note that certain treatments and services must include a face-to-face appointment, in line with current regulatory requirements and clinical best practice. For example:

  • All Botox treatments require an in-person consultation and assessment before treatment can proceed this is a requirement set by our professional regulators

  • Weight loss programmes involve essential in-clinic check-ins, including blood pressure monitoring and weigh-ins, to ensure safety and monitor progress

  • Physical assessments and diagnostics cannot be carried out remotely

We are happy to begin with a virtual consultation to discuss your goals, medical history, or any questions you may have. But before proceeding with any prescription-based procedure, an in-person appointment will be required.

Feedback and Adjustments

We value your feedback. If you experience any barriers to accessing our care, or if there’s something we could do better to support you, please let us know. We are happy to:

  • Discuss and agree reasonable adjustments

  • Log your preferences on your patient record

  • Review your needs regularly to ensure your care remains inclusive

Legal and Ethical Compliance

This Accessibility Statement aligns with:

  • The Equality Act 2010

  • The Accessible Information Standard

  • The NMC Code (2018) and GMC Good Medical Practice (2024)

  • The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014
